THE BODY AS A METAPHOR

How Emotions are Stored & Released Through Practice

As above, so below - as within, so without - the body is a microcosmic metaphor for our relationship to the macrocosmic world in which we navigate the journey of life. What has been theorized and expressed for centuries of eastern medicinal practices is now coming to light through proven western sciences and psychologies.

MJ Heart, Owner+Operator of Palo Santo Yoga, has been a lifelong student of the mind-body connection and how illness & injury hold deeper tensions beyond just the physical experience. MJ’s grandfather was both a military and athletic trainer, physical therapist and masseuse who studied homeopathic medicines starting nearly 90 years ago - from early childhood on, MJ gained insight and knowledge that has continued to grow and expand through her own trainings, certifications, explorations, & studies.

Gain insight as to where the body stores specific emotional traumas that have been embedded or held as well as the potential of deep healing and release through application of posture, meditation, intention, and journaling. This unique experience will give you the tools to become your own healer as well as a broader sense of compassion for all peoples and all bodies that hold and carry emotional damage.

This is a trauma informed therapeutic workshop covering the science and psychology of where the body stores emotions as well as applied tools to help release, open, and bring awareness to these aspects of our personal and collective healing journey.

The cost of this insightful offering is $111 - spaces are extremely limited!
